Culture is a great tool in development intervention. Street theater, radio or music can communicate massages of climate change or poverty alliviation massages to new audancies. Culture is also a resource for people when traditional knowledge handed down through genarations such as the natural resource management expertise, complement other development approaches.
If we fail to use creativity as a force for climate change justice, poverty eradication and articulation of human needs, we may be unwittingly letting down the very people in whose name we work.
